We not only trained by ourselves, we also had a go with the Army and Navy. Here a Tribal Class Frigate is receiving a certain amount of attention, however, bottom-left the so-and-so elected to fire back with harmless break-up shot. Even so, it dissuades a chap from getting too close!!

The Whole of 208 With Honoured Guests

On the right, we have most of the Squadron around an aircraft during an informal post-party visit by Sir Geoffrey and Major Draper.

Just back from UK Leave…..

….. and they said that the PR folks wanted photos of the lads… well, it didn't hurt, so here I am folks!

(PS: Note steely Mk II jet-jockey bone dome).

Army Co-op

On the occasion of previously mentioned cooperation with the Army, the latter took the odd photie. On this occasion we were participating in a joint exercise; we require practice at attacking ground targets while under control of pongos on the ground. On the right one such unit is broadcasting to the orbiting Hunter who will in turn attack the required target (or try to!). On the left a Hunter appears from behind a dune….. The scene was the Trucial Coast not far from Jebel Dhana.
