The flying display was followed by a cocktail party and then in the evening a Squadron Guest Night was held at which many very amusing and flattering speeches were made including one by Major C. Draper, DSC whose description of his flight under the London bridges was hilarious.
Thus ended a momentous day in the history of 208 Squadron.
